Susan Ochsner, Realtor®, SRES, CIPS:

Susan, a native of Sao Paulo, Brazil, grew up on Hilton Head Island, where she graduated from Sea Pines Academy (now Hilton Head Preparatory School) before leaving for the University of South Carolina.  She earned a degree in Marketing and Business Economics at USC, where she was a participant in the Masters of International Business program.

She is a former loan processor and a past Account Officer for private clients at the Swiss Bank Corporation in Zurich, Switzerland.  She also served as vice president for a private bank, Bank Julius Baer, in Zurich.  Susan’s financial experience gives her superior qualifications as an investment real estate advisor to both U.S. and international clients. She is a Senior Real Estate Specialist as well as a Certified International Property Specialist.

Susan is fluent in German, Portuguese, French and Spanish in addition to English.  She and her family reside in Sea Pines on Hilton Head Island, where she is an active member of several local and national professional organizations.

Fannie Caruso, Realtor®, Sales Executive:

Mary Frances “Fannie” Caruso is a Seniors Real Estate Specialist on Hilton Head Island. She earned her R.N. degree in 1971 at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. She also attended Wheeling Jesuit University in 1983. After several years of hospital-based nursing, she expanded her nurturing talents to community service. Fannie has held elective offices in many charities, hospitals, church and school boards over a period of 25 years in Wheeling, West Virginia. She has orchestrated events for Ohio Valley Medical Center; presided over and chaired multiple offices for the Wheeling Symphony Society; served on the Viennese Ball Committee and Patron’s Party as chairman for over 20 years; founded the Mardi Gras ball, which raised, for the woman’s abuse shelter, the most money in the history of the Wheeling YWCA. Dedicated to drawing and art, she has attended countless art classes and tutored under professional, well-known artists. Fannie’s paintings are on display in at least seven states.

Fannie has owned and managed rental properties since 1983. As an artist, she uses her dynamic creativity and fine sensibility to stage and sell properties which have been languishing on the market. A native of Mississippi, Carol has been a South Carolinian for nearly 28 years.  Her educational background is in Health Sciences, where she honed an innate curiosity into skills in research.   Her ability to draw information from obscure sources and to incorporate it with other data to develop the full perspective has become a useful tool in her subsequent ventures in the business world.  She also is a “go-to” member of the team for access to additional resources, as she cultivates a network of contacts in many fields.

Carol has fulfilled the real estate sales course requirements, and is qualified for licensure in South Carolina and reciprocating states.  This preparation provides her the information necessary to serve our clientele with ready and accurate answers to questions about property ownership or leasing issues, referring team members and clients to qualified professionals for matters beyond her own expertise
